Its so beutiful, the way the rose has grown, the way the bright red blossomed petals cradle the younger white ones in tehm and it looks like it was dark out. was it? This picture is like the definition of freshness and purity. and i adore it. thank you for submitting.

Actually, it was complete daylight, I merely switched my camera into Tungsten and the blue overlay produced a purple colour over the pinkish red of the rose's natural colour. =]

what does the tungsten in the title mean. Isnt that a kind of light?

Yes, its a sort of photo filter. The original "Freedom" is in my gallery, it is the same rose, but the camera light setting was switched to "Tungsten mode" and the result is a blue light cast over the image. Sort of like the blue effect of early morning light. Does that help? =)
